From Indonesia to the UK, Maria, a resilient and ambitious alumna of the British education system, leads Accept-Ed. With an MBA and Accountancy background, her multifaceted career spans multiple UK sectors.

Accept-Ed, born from Maria's passion, goes beyond advisory, providing holistic support for international students. Maria's leadership ensures it prepares students not just for their next educational chapter but for a transformative life experience.

Nona Pooroe Utomo, Director of Strategic Partnerships

Nona is an accomplished psychologist and behaviour change communication specialist with a distinguished academic background with degrees from UGM, Harvard University, and London Guildhall University. A recipient of the Fulbright Scholarship and Chevening Award, Nona has over 30 years of experience in the humanitarian field, collaborating with prestigious organisations like USAID, UNICEF, and the World Bank. She currently leads a waste management foundation and serves on the Task Force for Curriculum Development for Vocational School by KemendikbudRistek. As Director of Strategic Partnerships at Accept-Ed, Nona draws on her extensive networks across government, education, and international agencies to build meaningful collaborations between the UK and Indonesia.

Clarissa Suteja, Education Counsellor

Clarissa is a certified British Council Education Counsellor who brings a rich, multidisciplinary background spanning finance, business development, logistics, and marketing. She combines strong analytical skills with a practical, “get things done” mindset, helping students and families navigate their study options with clarity and confidence. At Accept-Ed, Clarissa supports students throughout their decision-making journey—from understanding pathways and requirements to shortlisting suitable universities and programmes.
