There are a lot of beautiful cities within the United Kingdom to visit, especially for students who wish to make the most of their time there. Travelling across the UK is simple if you plan ahead and make specific itineraries for your trip. Compared to other countries, the UK has some great public transport options, rather than just relying on booking a plane. The first destination that every student should at least visit once is London! As one of the most vibrant cities in England, London is a fascinating and historic city, filled with numerous museums, shops, bars and restaurants. It is also home to iconic football clubs such as Arsenal, Chelsea, West Ham United, and others. Hence, truly a gem for those who are football fanatics. If you prefer to stay in one city to save money, you'll be all set to roam around London, because the city will never bore you!

Nonetheless, suppose you wish to visit other cities on a budget. In that case, you can travel to nearby cities from London, such as Brighton! This coastal city is only an hour's train journey from London, and the price can be as cheap as £22 or less. Brighton's pier and beaches draw a lot of students to the city, especially when they want a change of scenery from the crowded metropolitan areas.

Aside from the famous Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club, the city is known for the setting of the famous chick flick teenage movie Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging; yes, Aaron Taylor Johnson was in it. Many friends also said the city has better traditional fish and chips than other cities in the UK! Another calm and peaceful city that students should visit is Bath. Situated in southwest England, the city is known as a living spa. Its Georgian architecture and mineral-rich resources offer a healing experience for your senses. Not to mention, many scenes from Netflix's famous series Bridgerton were shot in the city. So, for those of you Bridgerton lovers, Bath is a must-visit.

For students who want to visit traditional British university towns, Oxford and Cambridge are the cities for you. Whether you are a student of those prestigious universities or not, you should at least visit and stroll around those amazing campuses. Why? Cambridge is home to one of the world's oldest universities, and as for Oxford, there were numerous Harry Potter scenes filmed across Oxford's colleges! Plus, you can also enjoy riding in a long boat and see the breathtaking and beautiful green spaces of the picturesque cities!
